We designed TrueJobber to maximize utility while protecting personal identity. All sensitive personal information is hidden from other users by default. The only information visible to others is your User ID ( Name) and Country. Optional data (city, age, gender) is only shared if you choose to submit it.

• Registration Data: Name, email, and Country are required. Address, phone number, and gender are optional.
• Log Data: We automatically collect browser type, language, and IP addresses from all visitors.
• Cookies: We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which save your login for convenience). You may block cookies via your browser settings.
• Referral Data: If you use our invitation service, we store your friend's email solely for the purpose of sending the invitation and tracking the referral's success.

While your email address remains strictly confidential and is never displayed to other users, please be advised that user profiles are public by default and viewable by all visitors. We utilize your data to:

• Facilitate communication between Employers and Freelancers via User IDs.

4. Users Under Age 18

TrueJobber does not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover a minor has registered, we will delete their data immediately. Please contact us if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor.

Legal Requirements: We will not share your private data with third parties unless required by law.

• Data shared through messages, rated tasks, or active campaigns generally cannot be removed once published.
• Removed information may persist in backups for a reasonable period but will not be accessible to the public.
